Felipe Sanchez

Felipe Sanchez, president of Assurant Europe, is responsible for developing and executing strategic priorities for Assurant’s European operations to drive growth in France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and the UK. With the support of its more than 1400 European employees, Felipe focuses on delivering solutions that meet the needs of clients and their customers to improve the customer experience.

With over 30 years of professional experience and a successful tenure leading Assurant Mexico, Felipe brings a wealth of expertise in driving innovation and business development. 

Felipe was formerly President of Assurant Mexico. In 2024, Felipe delivered a record setting EBITDA contribution to make Mexico the largest contributor to Assurant’s International business portfolio, sustaining growth momentum and setting the benchmark for financial performance across the Latin American region. Felipe has a track record in setting strategy and delivering business results, demonstrated through his work with major auto and connected living clients.

Felipe joined Assurant in 2017 when he was appointed Country President for Assurant Mexico – a role he held at The Warranty Group (TWG). Under his leadership, Mexico has delivered impressive results in Global Auto and Connected Living, driving growth with leading clients including Liverpool, Hyundai, Mazda, Nissan, Samsung, Suzuki, Volkswagen, Costco, Mercado Libre, and Mercado Pago. Felipe previously dedicated 17 years to Microsoft, of which three years were in Europe, where he held senior international positions responsible for strategy and execution.
