Assurant Launches New Automotive Training Academy to Help Dealers Grow Their Businesses

Assurant, a leading global provider of lifestyle and housing solutions that support, protect and connect major consumer purchases, including vehicle protection products and services, has launched Dealer Academy, a fully integrated virtual training tool which provides partners with techniques to improve sales and profitability. 

Designed to help dealers improve the sales journey of value-add products, participants will benefit from a range of modules created by Assurant’s expert in-house training and development team. Modules include presentation sales skills as well as on Assurant’s automotive product range, from extended warranty and Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) to EV One and its portfolio of cosmetic Insurance products. 

Recognising that individuals learn in different ways, the programme accommodates multiple learning styles. For example, there is the special ‘video byte’ series that helps explain a range of topic areas in a compelling and memorable format. Assurant also provides full reporting in terms of course completions and passes and allows dealers to even drill down into testing to identify any knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
