2018 has been another amazing year for our Assurant Insight Events. Once again forums were held in each of our key European locations taking in Paris, Madrid, Milan and London. More than 100 delegates from different industries including retail, banking and telecommunications attended the events to share knowledge and hear thought-provoking insight from our expert keynote speakers regarding the key topics and market trends which are likely to impact our partners and their customers over the next few years.

The series of events kicked off in France, where we took a closer look at the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on service providers and their customers and how business models will need to adapt: One attendee commented: "we really appreciated the setting, the speakers and the overall quality of the event".

In Italy and Spain we discussed the transformative powers of data towards (AI) and automation, and how digitisation will affect consumers in both their home and work lives. Feedback from Italian attendees included: “definitely interesting” and “I also found it enlightening on a personal level, thank you”;

And we equally had great feedback in Spain: “The whole event was very satisfying”, “The bar is high for the next one”, “I loved everything”. Our keynote speaker at the Madrid event also took the time to share insight on the GDPR regulation.

We closed the event series in London, where we had two speakers presenting their thoughts around Connected Living and the impact of GDPR changes.
