Assurant, a leading global provider of lifestyle and housing solutions that support, protect and connect major consumer purchases, has partnered with Monzo Bank to provide end-to-end digital mobile phone insurance for Monzo customers, as part of the bank’s new Monzo Premium account.
Monzo Premium offers its customers a range of features and benefits, including mobile phone insurance, which is provided by Assurant. Monzo Premium customers will be protected against loss, theft, accidental damage and software malfunction with this cover. Customers will be able to make up to two claims each year and all claims will be made through the Monzo app. This will allow customers to initiate and complete a claim quickly and easily online, providing customers with a dynamic and nimble service that fits around their time. In addition to the account’s mobile phone insurance, Monzo Premium also offers its customers more from their Monzo account, with travel insurance from AXA, an interest rate of 1.50%/1.49% AER/Gross(variable) on up to £2,000, a Monzo white metal card made from a 16g single sheet of steel and much more.
